When a contact is taken the Tranz Angled Lozenge rolls down onto the centre of the tongue, the sweet spot, enhancing the feel and responsiveness, creating a higher level of communication through the reins. The arms of the bit are slightly curved and of an oval profile, this oval design takes up less room between the tongue and the upper palete, whilst offering a similar weight bearing surface as thicker more circular mouth pieces. The Loose Ring element is ideal for horses with a tendency to lean on the rein; the loose rings of the bit provide more movement than a fixed cheek bit and allow the rider to move the bit more in the horses mouth preventing the horse from leaning and grabbing hold of the bit as easily.
